Approach

The difference is in the direction.

An extraordinary portrait isn't just about how you look. It's about how you want the world to see you.

Richard Branson portrait

For more than 23 years, I've photographed founders, entrepreneurs, and some of the world's most successful individuals. My background in New York fashion photography gave me an understanding of lighting, styling, composition, and art direction that extends far beyond traditional executive portraiture.

I study the architecture of a face — its angles, proportions, bone structure, and the way light interacts with different skin tones. The smallest adjustment in posture, the position of the chin, the direction of the eyes, or the slightest change in expression can completely transform a photograph.

I direct every detail. Nothing is left to chance.

My experience in fashion, interiors, and set design allows me to create a complete visual environment around each subject. Wardrobe, lighting and surroundings work together to communicate a specific feeling: confidence, warmth, intelligence, approachability, authority, or quiet power.

I don't expect clients to know how to pose or perform in front of a camera. That's my responsibility. Many of the people I photograph have never liked photographs of themselves. Changing that is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

Extraordinary results. Remarkable efficiency.

The people I work with have very little time to spare. I can assess a face, set the ideal lighting, direct a subject and create exceptional portraits with remarkable speed.

When I photographed Richard Branson, the entire shoot took less than five minutes.

Not rushing — knowing exactly what works. I shoot on Hasselblad medium-format systems with the finest lighting available, but technology is only the final instrument. What you're commissioning is the eye, judgment and direction of 23 years.

Not a different person. The very best version of you.
